2015 Session 5, Facilitator Workshop

  • Learn how to be a facilitator.

“At the meeting, we have a clear goal, and we gather many opinions, and have discussion. Finally, they have to make a decision in limited time. To make good meeting, a facilitator who makes the discussion active and smooth is needed. The facilitator is not same as a boss or leader.”

“We should set the a clear goal, and every member says their opinions, and decide a solution in limited time."
"Facilitators don’t speak his/her opinion, just help to smooth, and he manage the time.”

“I notice joining conversation is important. When I do a discussion, I always talk nothing.”

“Goal, Opinion, Decision.  These are component of good meeting. "

2015 Session 13-15, Final Presentation

  • Work together with the presenters, chair, timekeeper, audience, teachers and all those who are involved to create the session.
  • Tell the audience who you are by making a presentation on what you are interested in.
  • Exchange feedback.

“"'Done is better than perfect."

“Repeat & repeat your theme”

“Convey your message and urge to do some actions.”

“Repeat same meaning with the other words. Repeat same words.”

2015 Session 8&9, Guest Speakers

Polish your English skills and presentation skills.
Refine your message.
Convey your idea to a new audience.

“Both abstract & concrete expression
Point words”

This sentence is made of comic sans.”

“Slow down and your presentation was more powerful. Give a question , slow down and share experience. These are important. What you say is more important than what slides say. What slide say helps you understand what you say.”
